Eligibility

JIET Medical College and Hospital

Admission to the first-year M.B.B.S. program is based on NEET eligibility and the counseling process conducted by the Rajasthan state NEET UG Medical Counsil Board 2024 / Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The admission policy follows guidelines provided by the Medical Council of India (MCI), National Medical Commission (N.M.C.), D.G.H.S., MCC, and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, as updated periodically.

Eligibility for the M.B.B.S. program adheres to the criteria specified in the Graduate Medical Education 1997, as amended up to May 2018 by the MCI/NMC. In addition to meeting the eligibility requirements in the qualifying examination set by MCI/NMC/NTA, candidates must qualify for the NEET examination. Their names should appear on the All India Merit List of qualified candidates, prepared based on the All India Rank in NEET (U.G.) by the NTA. Admissions to the M.B.B.S. program are made exclusively from this list.

Candidates must also participate in the Admission Counselling Process conducted by MCC, following guidelines from the Supreme Court, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, MCI, and N.M.C., as notified from time to time.
