General:-

  • The key strengths of JMCH are as follows.

    • Dr. Ranjana Mathur - Medical Superintendent. She was Head of the Department of Biochemistry at Dr. SN Medical College Jodhpur and has over 35 years of teaching experience.

    • JMCH has more than one hundred full-time consultants who come with a very strong academic and clinical background that  would be part of the teaching of MBBS students.

    • As per the MSR 2023, JMCH has built all the infrastructure for 5 years in the first year of starting a Medical college. 

Fees and Admission:-

    • The tuition fee is 18.90 lac for general and 28.20 Lacs for Management Quota. 

    • Yes, you can upgrade your college in the third round even if you have paid fees in state counseling.

    • No, as per the recent high court orders, Medical Colleges are not supposed to take bank guarantees. The college takes an affidavit, and posts a post-dated cheque.

  • No, the college doesn’t have a loan facility but assists the students in obtaining education loans through Loan Letters and documentation. 

  • No, we do not offer any discounts.

  • No package deal or bundling is offered.

  • The tuition fee for management quota is 28.20 Lacs.

  • No, the NRI quote doesn’t exist.

  • Books, Admission, Examination and Administration.

Hostel and Transport:-

    • Yes, We do have a transport facility.

    • Yes, JMCH has a hostel facility on its campus. 

    • All rooms have private bathrooms, but no shared bathrooms are present.

    • All rooms are air-conditioned.

    • The hostel charges are Rs. 2.5 Lacs per year for twin and 4.00 Lac for single occupancy.

Academics and Teaching:-

    • Labs for all four years  are available in the Medical college. 

    • All the Medical college infra for MBBS is complete. This ranges from Museums and libraries to Labs, Lecture theatres, teaching rooms, seminar rooms, and IT and Smart classes.

    • JMCH has a sprawling library with over 5000 books and journals.

    • Yes, JMCH has a digital library. 

    • Yes reading room available in the college itself.

Hospital:-

    • The hospital fulfills all the guidelines laid down by NMC to fulfill the clinical material. It has also had advanced IGRT Radiotherapy from day one, along with Cath Labs, CTVS OT, and Neuro OT, and it regularly performs complex surgeries. 

    • Yes, the stipend would be paid as per the NMC guideline.

    • JMCH has an exclusive tie-up with Medipulse, a tertiary care hospital for Superspecialties and departments that do not exist in the Medical college, such as renal Transplants and nuclear medicine. 

Attendance and Examination:-

    • For Theory, Minimum 75 percent and for practical, Minimum 80 percent attendance is mandatory. 

      All sick leaves would be accounted for in the remaining and 25%,. No extra sick leaves would be given. 

    • Student would be debarred from giving the exam.

    • Yes AEBAS would be mandatory for all the students and data would be share with NMC in real time.

  • The students calendar would be released from 15th October, 2024 for the session 2024 - 25.
